
Manawatu branch covers from Mt Ruapehu southward through Taihape and into the Rangitikei and as far west as Turakina. Eastward into the Manawatu encompassing Palmerston North stopping at the Manawatu Gorge and then down through and into Shannon and over again to the Northern Horowhenua and Levin.

In January we usually can be found at the Turakina Highland games where we pitch a gazebo.
Our Branch holds an annual AGM usually in February at the beautiful Mt Lees Reserve near Feilding.
We hold a Mid Winter Clan Dinner in Palmerston North which is always well attended. In Spring we enjoy a social event, and in early December we will be found at the Jenny Mair Highland Square Day in Palmerston North where we have a hospitality tent, with haggis tasting and Christmas shortbread, which are always hugely popular!

Joanne Cameron of the Manawatu Branch, together with Loraine Smith in Canada, are the administrators of the Clan Cameron YDNA Project .The Project is International in scope and has two administrators who oversee the entire Project. Joanne, and Loraine, are supported by many of our Manawatu and New Zealand branch members who have tested their DNA
